PlaySole

Overview

PlaySole is a modern commerce platform built end to end: a typed Next.js storefront on the front, a Fastify API in the middle and PostgreSQL underneath.

Architecture

• Storefront — Next.js and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS.
• API — a Fastify service that owns the business logic and exposes typed endpoints to the storefront.
• Data — PostgreSQL accessed through Drizzle ORM, keeping the schema and queries type-safe.
• Media — product images and assets are served through Bunny CDN.

Highlights

• Types flow from the database schema through the API to the UI, so changes surface as compile errors instead of runtime bugs.
• A clear split between storefront and API keeps each side simple to reason about and deploy.
